The Consulate General of the State of Qatar in Erbil organized a celebration on Wednesday, 17 December 2025, on the occasion of Qatar National Day. The event was attended by H.E. Mr. Hoshyar Zebari, former Minister of Foreign Affairs of Iraq; H.E. Mr. Fawzi Hariri, Head of the Presidency Diwan of the Kurdistan Region; H.E. Mr. Safeen Dizayee, Head of the Department of Foreign Relations; as well as numerous senior officials, accredited members of the diplomatic corps in the Region, business leaders, media representatives, and public figures. Qatar Airways also participated in the celebration.
