Beneficiaries of this service:

Official delegations.

Service Description:

This service aims to provide an official visa for official delegations to meet with officials from the Amiri Diwan, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and officials from ministries, governmental authorities, and institutions, or to attend conferences to which they are invited by ministries, authorities, or governmental institutions.

Terms and requirements:

  1. Submit an official letter through the Department of Foreign Relations in the Kurdistan Regional Government.

  2. Submit a completed visa application form (link).

  3. Submit a valid passport with at least six months of remaining validity.

  4. Two personal photos of the applicant.

  5. The visa is issued within 2–3 working days from the date the applicant’s information is entered into the electronic system.

  6. The visa is valid for three months for a single entry, starting from the date of issuance. The visa holder must enter the country before the visa expires.

  7. The visa holder may stay in the country for one month from the date of entry.

  8. This visa is renewable for the same period, with no specified limit on extensions.

Business Visa – Businessmen

Beneficiaries of this service:
Businessmen and well-known commercial figures.

Service Description:
This service aims to provide a business visa for businessmen and well-known commercial figures to enter the State of Qatar and explore ways to enhance and develop investments between their countries and the State of Qatar.

Terms and requirements:

  1. Businessmen must provide the mission with proof that they are businessmen, unless they are already recognized as commercial figures by the head of mission or the consular officer.

  2. Submit a completed visa application form (link).

  3. Submit a valid passport with at least six months of remaining validity.

  4. Two personal photos of the applicant.

  5. The visa is issued within 2–3 working days from the date the applicant’s information is entered into the electronic system.

  6. The visa is valid for three months for a single entry, starting from the date of issuance. The visa holder must enter the country before the visa expires.

  7. The visa holder may stay in the country for one month from the date of entry.

  8. This visa is renewable for the same period, with no specified limit on extensions.

Note:
This service is currently unavailable. Applicants may apply for a tourist visa instead.

Tourist Visa

Beneficiaries of this service:
Tourists.

Service Description:
This service aims to provide a tourist visa for individuals wishing to visit the State of Qatar for tourism and to explore the country's historical, economic, architectural, cultural, and social landmarks.

Terms and requirements:

  1. Submit a completed visa application form (link).

  2. Submit a valid passport with at least six months of remaining validity.

  3. Two personal photos of the applicant.

  4. The visa is issued within 4–5 working days from the date the applicant’s information is entered into the electronic system.

  5. The visa is valid for one month for a single entry, starting from the date of issuance. The visa holder must enter the country before the visa expires.

  6. The visa holder may stay in the country for one month from the date of entry.

  7. A copy of the flight ticket should be attached, if available.

Visa Fees:
27 USD, paid via bank transfer. The fee is non-refundable.

Beneficiaries of this service:

Travelers who plan to stop over in Qatar  in their way for  a third destination. 

Service Description:

Travelers who plan to stop over in Qatar in their way for a third destination, the visa is valid for (2) days.

 

Terms and requirements:

  • This Visa doesn’t apply for travelers passing through Qatar, these passing - through travelers don’t require a visa, and will be allowed to enter the country if their transit time is more than six hours, with a commitment from the airlines company.
  • Submit visa application attaching all required documents.
  • Submit –along with the application- applicant passport valid for not less than six months.
  • Two photos of the applicant.
  • The visa is issued for all nationalities immediately after data entry in the automated system.
  • The visa is valid for (1) one month from the date of issuance, the visa holder should enter the country before the end of the validity period.
  • The visa holder can stay in the country for a period of (2) two days from the date of entry.
  • This visa cannot be extended.

Beneficiaries of this service:

The nationals of Turkey, Poland, Hungary and Cyprus. 

Service Description:

This service enables the nationals of Turkey, Poland, Hungary and Cyprus to obtain an immediate tourist visa to enter the State of Qatar.

Terms and requirements:

  • Applicants should provide a bank statement for the previous three months, showing a minimum balance of 5,000 QR, financially capable applicants known by the mission, are exempted from this condition.
  • Submit visa application attaching all required documents.
  • Submit –along with the application- applicant passport valid for not less than six months.
  • Two photos of the applicant.
  • The visa is issued for the nationals of Turkey, Poland, Hungary and Cyprus immediately after data entry in the automated system.
  • The visa is valid for (1) one month from the date of issuance, the visa holder should enter the country before the end of the validity period.
  • The visa holder can stay in the country for a period of (1) one month from the date of entry.
  • This visa cannot be extended.

Beneficiaries of this service:

All Nationalities. 

Service Description:

This service enables all nationalities (except GCC citizens) to enter the State of Qatar.

Terms and requirements:

  • Submit visa application attaching all required documents.
  • Submit –along with the application- applicant passport valid for not less than six months.
  • Two photos of the applicant.
  • The visa is issued for all nationalities (except GCC citizens).
  • The visa is valid for (3) three months from the date of issuance, the visa holder should enter the country before the end of the validity period.
  • The visa holder can stay in the country for a period of (1) one month from the date of entry.
  • This visa can be extended for a similar period (six months maximum).

200 QR per month.

This service aims to provide legal attestation for commercial documents for use inside and outside the State of Qatar. The documents include:

Terms and Requirements:

The Consulate General of the State of Qatar in Erbil authenticates documents bearing stamps and signatures recognized by the Attestation Section of the Iraqi Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

General Instructions:

The document submitted for attestation must contain a series of original stamps and signatures, ending with a stamp and signature approved by the Iraqi Ministry of Foreign Affairs – Attestation Section.

The application must be submitted to the Consulate along with all required documents for review and verification.

The specified fee must be deposited into the official bank account of the Consulate General of the State of Qatar after submitting the application.

The Consulate General of the State of Qatar in Erbil is not responsible for the content of the documents, but it reserves the right to refuse attestation of any document that violates the regulations of the State of Qatar.

Citizens and Expatriates

Service description:

It is a service that aims to impart  legal status on civil documents for use inside and outside the State of Qatar, including the following letters:

  • Letters issued by the government to its employees, whether they are Qataris or expatriates.
  • Letters issued by the institutions under the supervision of government authorities and state departments to citizens and expatriates.
  • Letters issued by accredited diplomatic missions of the State of Qatar.
  • Letters issued by citizens and attested from the Ministry of Justice , the Supreme Judiciary Council, or the Ministry of Interior.
  • Letters of definition, Disclaimer letter and NOC issued to residents from their employer companies that are members of Qatar chamber of commerce, the Ministry of Labor, or the Ministry of Economy and Trade.
  • Expatriates employment contracts or partnership contracts and all documents related to companies and institutions.

Terms and requirements:

The Department of Consular Affairs  at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs or one of its branches (five branches at present and will be eight branches at the beginning of next year) ratify the stamp or Signature of the chamber of commerce or any other ministry or authority approved by the Department of Consular Affairs, Ministry of Foreign Affairs .

General instructions:

  • The document submitted for attestation must contain a series of original stamps and signatures, ending with a stamp and signature approved by the Iraqi Ministry of Foreign Affairs – Attestation Section.
  • The authorities of the Government of the State of Qatar are responsible for ratification of documents issued by them, as well as copies of those documents.
  • Qatar chamber of commerce approves stamps and signatures of some translation offices.
  • If the information on an attested document or any of its signatures or stamps, turns out to be incorrect, the attestation will be considered void and null, in which case the department of consular affairs will reserve the right to file claims to the concerned authorities in Qatar.
  • The Consular Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and its affiliates shall not be responsible for the contents of the document. However, they 'll refuse to ratify any document that its content proves to be contrary to the regulations of the State of Qatar.

Personal Status Document Attestation Service

Service Description:
This service aims to grant legal status to personal status documents for use both inside and outside the State of Qatar. It includes:

- Birth and death certificates (for Qatari citizens and residents).

- Copies of passports and ID cards (for Qatari citizens and residents).

- Police clearance certificates (for Qatari citizens).

- Police clearance certificates (for residents).

- All documents related to personal status and individuals.

Terms and Requirements:

The Consulate General of the State of Qatar in Erbil authenticates documents bearing stamps and signatures approved by the Attestation Section of the Iraqi Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

General Instructions:

- The document submitted for attestation must contain a series of original stamps and signatures, ending with a stamp and signature approved by the Iraqi Ministry of Foreign Affairs – Attestation Section.
 
- The application must be submitted to the Consulate along with the required documents for review and verification.

- The attestation fee, as specified on the receipt, must be deposited into the official bank account of the Consulate General of the State of Qatar after the application is submitted.

Service Description:
This service aims to grant legal status to medical documents for use inside and outside the State of Qatar. It includes:

  • Medical certificates issued by hospitals and health centers operating under the supervision of the Supreme Council of Health.
  • Medical certificates issued abroad and authenticated by the relevant health authorities, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and the Qatari mission in the country of origin or the accredited mission of that country in Qatar.

Terms and requirements:

  • Medical certificates issued by hospitals and health centers under the supervision of the Supreme Council of Health must undergo a series of attestations ending with a stamp and signature recognized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs – Department of Consular Affairs or one of its branches.
  • Medical certificates issued abroad and authenticated by health authorities and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs must include a chain of attestations ending with the stamp of the Qatari mission in the country of origin or the accredited mission of that country in Qatar.

- Diploma certificates issued by schools and institutes within Qatar and attested by the Supreme Education Council or another competent government authority.

- University, professional, and medical educational certificates issued outside Qatar and attested by the Iraqi Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Terms and Requirements:

- The document submitted for attestation must contain a series of original stamps and signatures, ending with a stamp and signature approved by the Iraqi Ministry of Foreign Affairs – Attestation Section.

  • A letter stating the reason of requesting this certificate, and the period of residency in Qatar.
  • An original copy of the fingerprints form issued by the security authorities, and attested by the mission.
  • Copy of the passport including the residency sticker, and a copy of the new passport (if applicable).
