I am pleased to welcome you to the website of the Consulate General of the State of Qatar in Erbil , through which we seek to be the point of contact with all people qatari in most of Iraqi Kurdistan, which falls within the scope of our jurisdiction.

Through which we seek to provide everyone who wishes to visit the State of Qatar with the necessary information about the customs, traditions and culture of the Qatari people, as well as clarifying all consular procedures and services.

Qatari-Iraqi relations began more than 49 years ago, and developed at a rapid and regular pace. The relations between the two countries are now considered distinguished, especially after the recent visit of His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, the Emir of the State of Qatar to the sister Republic of Iraq in 2023.
